In our Lite FM advertisement, you will have a snippet of conversation between Taylor and John, his dad.
John is bemused by the success that Taylor has had in wooing Jess, whom John considers a bit of fuss pot, but secretly admirers her character and thinks she is bit “too good” for Taylor and would be quite a catch. Even John’s wife, who still turns heads, and who definitely was “some catch”, thinks Jess would be great for Taylor.
Taylor, has had a string of girl friends, at least three of whom, were “stunningly beautiful”, according to him. Alas, each has equally spectacularly fallen out of love with him. Maybe it’s just maturity, maybe it was that personal coaching seminar - either way, he feels much more confident about his relationship with Jess, and his ability to get to know her. Definitely good conversation has been as much a part of his approach as anything else…, and his last outing with Jess at Sweet Olives was a big success as he related to his dad.

After that conversation Jess began to feel she might change her mind about Taylor. When she first met with Taylor, she was charmed by his looks and confidence. Even his obvious swagger was subtle and becoming in its own way. He definitely had something about him. Her feelings at the time were, however, tempered by her best mate Jane’s comments that “he was ok for a night out or two, but don’t waste your life wondering about him”. Jane was actually, Taylor’s ex, two girlfriends ago – and she was the one who introduced Jess to Taylor, when Jess was stuck taking someone to a work do. That was six months ago, and even though Jess had a closed mind, she has been falling for Taylor. Last week at Sweet Olives, was really something else. She opened out to Taylor, like she has done to no one else, Jane included. She got really really close to muttering those immortal words, “I love…”, . Now, thinking back on that date she felt elated – even just thinking of it as “date” made her feel special and brought her out in goose bumps. As her mum remarked, “…looked like you’ve been walking on air, lately”.

Looking back to that lovely meal at Sweet Olives, she could not help but feel a little guilty – it was just the perfect opportunity to tell Taylor what she hadn't the courage so far to tell him – but it was such a beautiful experience, what with the stunning surroundings and all that lovely food, she kept telling herself, it would have spoilt the evening. She wondered how Taylor would take it when he actually found out...
